Egypt: a Photo Journal
This photo journal highlights a ten-day trip to Egypt. It includes the bustling capital of Cairo, the ancient city of Luxor, and discovering tranquility on the Red Sea.
There is much to share when it comes to my not-so-recent trip to Egypt. I had high hopes of pumping out posts with the efficiency of a well-oiled gyro stand in the hectic streets of Luxor. My notebook is littered with post ideas: Valley of the Kings, how to create an Egypt itinerary, the best ancient sites, comprehensive travel guides. I even wrote about an incredibly heartbreaking and traumatic experience from our final hours in Cairo. Alas, no typing occurred, no posts written.
Today, I finally return to Egypt, four months later.
To be fair, my return is a bit of a cop-out and I fully recognize this. No words, aside from these, will be written. Instead, I am sharing a selection of photos from our ten days in Egypt. And let me state for the official record that ten days is approximately a hundred days too few to experience the breadth and depth of this country. But ten days it was, and it is from these that I will share - in photos, for now - my experience with you.
I hope you enjoy.
